After selling out The Fleece for a number of years now with their critically acclaimed “Queen Tribute” nights, The Big Time embark on a new project, “Now That’s What I Call The 80’s”.
25 of the biggest hits of this much loved decade, from 25 of the biggest selling artists of the era, all tailor made to evoke fond memories of nostalgia and provide a cracking night’s entertainment that will keep you dancing and singing all night!
Anyone who has seen The Big Time take on Queen’s back catalogue will be well aware of the precision and good time feel with which the band tackle their covers and the show they put on. Now imagine them taking on the likes of INXS, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Tears For Fears, The Jam, U2, Simple Minds or even Aerosmith, Van Halen, David Bowie, Bon Jovi and many more, not to mention some of Queen’s finest 80’s moments of course, remember Live Aid?
No novelty rubbish, not a Stick, Insect or Watermelon in sight, just a fantastic evening packed with all the good stuff! This was an era when the charts were dominated by a dearth of artists who wrote and played great tunes with real instruments! Now The Big Time will recreate this bygone age.
